Technical & Mathematical Typesetting

Typesetting maths (mathematics) and technical documents is a specialist area. It is not enough to make a document look good—the information needs to be presented in a logical way that makes finding and understanding the information easy.

Graeme McKinstry has many years of experience in TeX/LaTeX and was the University of Otago expert (TeXnician) for many years before starting work at Hughes Lithographics Ltd. Built on top of a Computer Science background, Graeme’s experience isn’t just in basic formatting but he has typeset several mathematical texts and many technical books. Being an industry expert in programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop also helps in making sure that the right tool is used for the right job.

This technical knowledge, combined with a peerless understanding of fonts, prepress and the printing industry, means that no job is too complicated or too difficult.
